Introduction

I’m John Lennon, a longtime competitive Warhammer 40,000 player and champion! I specialize in board control armies that minimize risk and apply pressure to the opponent, as well as model positioning and combat mastery. I am a faction expert with Tyranids, Space Marines, Adeptus Custodes, Adepta Sororitas, Astra Militarum, Imperial Knights and Chaos Knights. I’ve been playing competitive warhammer for over fifteen years and the past seven editions.

Coaching Experience

I have been coaching Warhammer 40,000 since 2020, and in that time have coached many clients to GT and Major tournament wins, as well as to multiple WTC teams. I’m flexible and open-minded, and always looking to work with my clients to provide them with the most helpful experience based on their needs and goals.

Game Style and Specialty

As a coach, I prioritize game knowledge, rules combinations and synergies that are reliable, with an emphasis on movement and close combat tricks.

Teaching Philosophy

I focus on how to improve consistency in play, and how to understand the game better, to improve my clients as players for the long term rather than focus on meta armies. My coaching style centers on decision making and the big picture of 40k, and how to eliminate mistakes.
