Introduction

I’m Matt Morosoli, long time competitive 40K player from Melbourne, Australia. I have played a ton of different armies and play styles throughout my competitive 40K career, but like to focus on armies with flexibility and options, rather than just pure damage. I like to approach the game in a way that allows me to find creative solutions to problems, rather than just building the most optimized damage lists and hoping to go first. My favorite armies are Chaos Daemons & Drukhari, however I’ve spent a lot of time playing everything from Thousand Sons to Chaos Knights to Sisters of Battle, as well as other Xenos factions including Necrons & GSC.    

Achievements

Australian ITC Winner x3 Uprising Adelaide Champion & Runner Up in consecutive years LVO 2023 3rd Place Team Australia Member 2019, 2022, 2023 WTC Champions 2022, 3rd place in 2023 WTC Warmaster 3rd place 2022 ATC (Australia) Winner Summoned a plague hulk on stream against a meta deathwatch list for a chuckle. Additionally, I have won a large amount of GT & Major events held in Australia over my playing career.

Coaching Experience

I have been coaching 40K players with Art Of War since 2021. I’ve had clients come to me to learn new armies, new playstyle skills & to help them understand the game better. I’ve had several clients go on to win GT sized events in their local area.

Game Style and Specialty

I like to create situations where I can react to my opponents and punish their mistakes. I help my clients analyze the game state and look for opportunities further into the game, rather than just what’s in front of them. I emphasize movement and taking advantage of mobility and the charge phase.
